All stock
Parkway jars & caps are manufactured to meet average
industry standards. These standards will not be suitable
for all customer applications. Also minor variations
in perceived quality occur between jars & caps
of different sizes due to the fact that all of our
molds are not of the same age, style or condition.
For this reason, we request that the customer test
enough samples of our jars & caps so as to decide
whether or not our jars are suitable for the customer's
intended application.
Samples:
Will only be accepted for processed via fax, US mail
or Parkway’s website located at www.parkwayjars.com.
Samples will be acknowledged via fax or email.
Orders:
Will only be accepted, processed and acknowledged
via fax or mail. All prices are based on our standard
materials, scheduling, packaging, and PPI QC Procedures.
Special colors, materials, scheduling, packaging,
inspection, QC Requirements are available by quotation.
Terms:
Net 30 to approved accounts and must be in US Funds.
FOB Factory.
Payment:
We also accept Cash, VISA & MasterCard credit
card and wire transfer. Personal or Company check
will take 14 days to clear processing of bank.
Pallets:
Parkway's products do not include pallets. Parkway
recommends that styrene jars, custom orders and printed
items be shipped on pallets. Pallets with shrink-wrap
cost $ 7.50 per pallet.
Shipping:
All items are shipped FOB Factory.
Shipping
Allowance: Freight allowance on Stock Jars
and Caps: 5% when shipped west of the Mississippi
river and 15% when shipped into California. Some restrictions
apply. No freight allowance on Specialty items, custom
molded, decorating or secondary operation.
Shipping
Specifications: All current shipping specifications
such as freight classifications, carton density, cubic
ft, weight, piece count, and other packaging and/or
shipment information is available on our website http://www.parkwayjars.com/pdfs/specif.pdf.
Freight
Handling Charges: All UPS and Prepaid Freight
(direct or third party billing redirected to Parkway)
are increased by 10% to cover handling.
Damage
in Transit: Once the items leave our shipping
dock you are responsible for placing damage freight
claims to your delivering freight carrier within 7
days, unless you have other terms set up.
Damage:
All claims must be made to Parkway Plastics Inc within
5 days after receipt of goods.
Returns:
Prior Authorization is required for all returns and
is assigned an RGA Number. Items without a valid RGA
number will be refused. Not all items may be returnable.
Jar Volumes are
for Polystyrene. Polypropylene volumes are approximately
5% less.
Jar Thread
Finish: Our standard thread finish is CT-400
made to G.C.M.I specifications for all jars except
3oz 58mm ThickWall and RegularWall These are made
to SPI specifications.
Cap Thread
Finish: Parkway Plastics cap thread finish
is manufactured to SPI specifications.
Cap liner: All lined caps are lined
with our selection of TRISEAL F217 or equivalent liner
material. Specialty liners are quoted separately.
Cap Information:
Ribbed caps have matte tops. 43mm ribbed caps have
smooth tops or matte tops. Please specify. Dome cap
liners are not glued in, but press fit only. It is
not unusual for press fit liners to fall out of the
cap during storage or transport, and therefore PPI
does not consider this a defect and will assume no
responsibility for this.
Custom
Caps: Custom colors, special lining or secondary
processes is available on a quotation basis. Parkway
Plastics Inc will not be responsible for the scuffing
or marring of caps. Scuffmarks are more noticeable
on black or dark color caps and are not returnable.
Custom
Services: All stock Parkway jars are manufactured

Decorating
Minimum Runs: Minimum runs for flame treating,
frosting and printing are 10,000 pieces for items
under 48mm and 5,000 pieces for items over 53mm. Pricing
for less than minimum run is by quotation only.
Flame Treating:
All Items Printed by PPI are flame treated where necessary.
Items not printed by PPI may be flame treated at $30.00/m
per side for sizes up to 58mm, $35.00/m per side for
63mm to 89mm, $45.00/m per side for 100mm to 120mm.
Flame Treating is a temporary process. Jars should
be labeled or printed on as soon as possible.
Printing
Prices: Printing prices are based on average
PPI requirements and approval of final artwork and
printing specifications. Minimum printing gap of 1/2"
required based on artwork fitting on jar. For custom
items or special inks add 10% to the standard printing
prices. We reserve the right to over/under ship by
10% Orders for exact quantities add 5% to the total
price of the order.
Artwork
Charges: Parkway expects to work from camera-ready
artwork. Art Adjustment charges are quoted and billed
separately.
Offset
Printing: Plate charges are $150.00 per plate.
Some jobs may require more than one plate per color.
Plate charges do not include artwork or prep charges,
which are quoted and billed separately. Imprint or
color changes are $75.00 per change.
Silkscreen
Printing: Silkscreen charges are $50.00 per
print job. Screen charges do not include artwork adjustment
charges or preparation charges, which are quoted and
billed separately.
Printing
Pre-production Run: All printed orders are
run according to our interpretation of commercial
acceptability as regards color matching, ink lay down,
and artwork position on the container. Customers who
wish their job run according to their standards must
request a pre-production run sample at a cost of $375.00
per sample run.
